Along with friends, Ted and Jane, I drove to Philadelphia a few days in advance of the Primary election therre. Wanting to contribute to the exciting movement developing around the candidacy of Barack Obama, we spent the day canvassing the Germantown section of the City of rotherly Love. We knocked on close to 200 doors ina mostly African-American neighborhood and were warmly received with interest and excitement. We returned to New York at about 9 o'clock, tired but energized from doing our part in turning the country around.
