Matthew Weinstein (bicyclist)  > Politics > No Bush Bailout - Rally on Wall Street
Sep 25, 2008

Several thousands demonstrated in NYC today against the Bush robbery plan to solve the financial crisis confrontin the U.S. and word economies. "Trust me to solve the crisis," says the leader of the bunch who brought us the crisis. "And don't ask questions, just give me the money." Is this guy kidding? Everything he has ever touched has been a disaster from baseball teams to oil companies to a so-called war against terrorism to the well-being of our country. Trust him? Americans are saying NO to Bush and the pretender to the throne - Bush's clone, John McCain. Similar demonstrations took place throughout the country but perhaps not with as much symbolism at this located at the scene of the crime: Wall Street.

Another Wall Street rally is scheduled for Monday, September 29th at 12 noon. Called by Jessie Jackson and the Transit Workers Union (TWU), it should be attended by all who want to move the country in a different direction after eight years of the house wreckers misleading our country and destroying our world.
