September 1, 2004 - Thousands of New Yorkers formed a line from Wall Street to Madison Square Garden. For 15 minutes they stood silently while holding aloft a pink slip. This was the symbol of the rising joblessness brought on by 4 years of the Bush policies of aiding the super-rich and crapping on the rest of us. It's the first Administration since that of Herbert Hoover where joblessness has increased for three years in a row.
