A Visit To Stef And Al And Then Shopping With Tamar and Jay : Dec 5, 2009 It was our 38th anniversary and we spent it with our dear friends Stephanie and Al - at their home in Mahwah. It also was the first snowfall of the year - a regular winter wonderland greeted us in New Jersey. The next day we met Tamar and Jay and did some holiday shopping at the Union Square Gift Market. Robert Ford's Prom Night : Jun 4, 2009 My young neighbor, Robert Ford, is graduating from high school. Tonight a beautiful (and very big) white limo pulled up on Underhill Avenue. Robert appeared from his house next door, spiffed up in a stunning white tux. Along with his friend Z, the two left to pick up their dates and spend the evening dancing in Manhattan. Diane and Tangerine : Apr 19, 2009 Our friends, Diane and Rock Allison, lost their sweet little cat, Tangerine, last week. Tangerine came to the Allison's house from Diane's mom's care when her mother became too ill to care for her. Tangie had been sick for a while, not eating and retreating from her usual curioius and friendly routine. Here, in fond memoriam, are some photos I took of Diane and Tangie on the front stoop of our house. (taken October 24, 2005). Tangerine, sweetly, would like to sit on the upper step and watch the world go by. Our Friend, Jeff Pinder, Visits from the UK : In 1996, Stacey and I biked western Ireland with a group sponsored by the Irish Cycling Safaris. We corresponded with our new friends for a few years but eventually lost contact. The exception were some young women, Alex and Jody and their father, Jeff Pinder.
