Our Trip To South Beach - Exploring : Our destination for Carli and Sloan's wedding was the beautiful gem - the great art deco district of South Beach. Located on the southern tip of the barrier island that forms Miami Beach, it's a an architectural fossile, frozen in time. It's streets are lined with stunning buildings built from the 1920's to the late 30's in the deco design style that was the hallmark of that period. Here are photos that I took of our neighborhood over the course of the few days we were there. Also, photos of us, family and friends taken before and after the wedding. Truthfully, we'd love to return and really study the area more carefully at a fututre date.

The occasion was the marriage of Sloan and Carli - to be held on the beach at the Raleigh Hotel. But first a pre-wedding party at Ocean Drive's Johnny Rockets.
