These are photos of my beautiful cat, Pumpkin. At age 14 she has developed tongue cancer. How did Pumpie come into our family? She appeared on the deck of our house in Manhattan Beach two days after one of our three cats died. Though we tried to find her owners it was (to our good fortune) to no avail and she became part of our family. She outlived the other two cats (who were much older) and now she, too, will leave us. That's the bad part. The good is the joy she has brought us over the years.
